Annual General Meeting | 3 February 2026
The Annual General Meeting of the BBC Old Collegians’ Association will take place on Tuesday, 3 February 2026 at 6pm at Brisbane Boys’ College in the Bisset Gallery.

The AGM will be followed by a meeting of the new OCA Executive Committee.
Nominations for Executive Committee Members are now open.
In accordance with the Brisbane Boys’ College Old Collegians’ Association Constitution, the staggered tenure system for Committee Members came into effect following the AGM held on 6 February 2024. This system ensures continuity and knowledge retention by allowing approximately 50% of Committee Members to continue serving beyond their initial term.
For 2026, the following Committee Members will continue serving:
- Murray McNaught OC1992 – President
- Glen Wright OC2008 – Vice President
- Ross Thomson OC1976
- Matthew Pettigrew OC2016
- Graham Sagar OC1969
There are 5 vacancies in 2026.
Nominations for Executive Committee Members
Nominations should be submitted in written form, signed by the candidate and endorsed by two nominating members. These nominations, along with a brief candidate bio, must be submitted to the Secretary at least seven days prior to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) where the election will take place. At the AGM, attending members will cast their votes to fill the available candidate vacancies.
Members present at the AGM vote for the number of candidate vacancies. Nominations close Tuesday 27 January 2025.
