Founder’s Day Assembly and Morning Tea

Old Boys are warmly invited to return to the College to celebrate Founder’s Day.
It was on 10 February 1902 that Mr A. W. Rudd opened the doors of our school for the first time to just four students. One hundred and twenty-two years have passed since that very significant day in the history of our College, and each year we mark the anniversary with celebration and thanksgiving.

Mark Nicolaidis (OC 2017) is a professional beach volleyball player who proudly represented Australia at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Since graduating from Brisbane Boys’ College, Mark has pursued excellence both on and off the court. His journey from the BBC courts to the world stage is a testament to hard work, resilience, and the power of chasing one’s dreams.
We are delighted to welcome Mark back to College as our 2025 Founder‘s Day guest speaker, inspiring the next generation of BBC boys to chase their dreams with determination and grit.
